Hi everyone! My name is Shaggy. I hung out at Monadnock Humane Society for a while before being adopted by my new FURmily. I decided to start a blog to share my adventures with you! Here goes...
It has been a little while since I have posted in my blog, and I know you all are anxious to hear how I am doing! Well, the answer is I am doing just GREAT!
This has been a chilly, rainy spring so far, so guess what?!? I have a brand new spiffy raincoat! Aren’t I handsome? I love wearing it on my walks and am getting so many compliments from the neighbors. It’s a good color, too, so that cars can see me easily. That makes my foster parents really happy.
I had lost a little weight in the past few months, so I have been doing my best to eat all of my breakfast and dinner each day. To tell the truth, I am a gentleman with (ahem) discerning tastes, so I need to be coaxed into eating my meals sometimes. I have trained my foster family to add a little crushed up Milk Bone into my food to whet my appetite at mealtimes, and that seems to do the trick. They are learning about how to please my every desire. Good parents. Sit, stay.
I want to thank the wonderful folks at Monadnock Humane Society for their tender care. I was back to pick up my flea/tick meds and they were so happy to see me! I know I am adorable and all, but they make a fuss over me and that really makes my tail wag.
Enjoy this spring weather – and I will write again soon, promise! Woof Woof!
PS: Sometimes my foster family calls me by my nickname “The Shagster” which I think is pretty funny. HA!
