Morning Animal Caregivers

Clean and feed the shelter animals as well as helping with dishes, laundry, litterboxes, and general cleaning, as needed. Walking dogs, animal socialization. Volunteers must take the appropriate training.
Commitment Level: 4 hours per month
Availability: mornings, anytime between 8am-11am

Office Assistant

Help with administrative duties such as making copies, folding brochures, data entry, helping with our adoption follow up program. Must be fluent with computers.
Commitment Level: 4 hours per month.
Availability: flexible hours around your schedule.

Greeters

Be the friendly face that greets the public when they arrive to MHS. Guide and give information to people as needed. Must be friendly, outgoing, and have great communication skills.
Commitment Level: 6 month commitment, and one shift per week.
Availability: Afternoon hours.

Afternoon Animal Care Helpers

Take care of the animals. Socialize with them, clean soiled rooms or enclosures, fill water bowls, and walk dogs at the end of the day.
Commitment Level: 4 hours per month, or 1 shift every other week.
Availability: between 1-5pm.

Humane Educators

Do you love working with children and animals? Friendly, outgoing, and self-motivated people needed to host school & camp groups at MHS  or make presentations to at local museums, camps & after-school groups.
Commitment Level: 4 hours per month, or 1 shift every other week.
Availability: flexible with your schedule.

Public Spay/Neuter Volunteer

Go over post-surgical instructions when owners pick up their pets, and other tasks. Must have great communication skills.
Commitment Level: 6 months.
Availability: between 4-5:30pm on Public Clinic Thursdays.
