There’s No Place Like Home for the Holidays!  MHS announces a Special “Home for the Holidays” Adoption Event made possible by One Stop Country Pet Supply

Monadnock Humane Society is pleased to announce a special adoption event – “Home for the Holidays” – held at the Adoption Center in Swanzey. This event is made possible by One Stop Country Pet Supply. One Stop is providing a $25 cash donation towards each of the first 50 adult pet adoptions (pets who are 6 months and older) between now and December 31st. A $25 gift certificate to the One Stop Country Pet Supply Keene store will also be given to each family for the 50 pets adopted during this event.   Stephanie Frommer, Senior Director of Shelter Operations and Field Services said that “Every pet deserves a home for the holidays.  Monadnock Humane Society’s ‘Home for the Holidays’ is a great opportunity to find homes for the wonderful animals we have available for adoption and to bring awareness to our mission and work.”   Pam Rohdenburg, manager of One Stop Country Pet Supply, is pleased to be able to help homeless pets find their new forever homes. “Everyone here at One Stop believes strongly in the mission of MHS, and we are thrilled to have this chance to help them help these animals. It’s a wonderful gift to our community.”   If you’re thinking of adding a pet to the family, we hope you’ll stop in and speak to an experienced adoption counselor and meet some of the many adult dogs, cats and rabbits in need of good homes. All rabbits are spayed or neutered prior to adoption.  Cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies are spayed or neutered, microchipped, tested for feline leukemia or heartworm (respectively), dewormed, and up-to-date on vaccinations as of the day of adoption.
