MHS  will hold  its 7th Annual Craft Fair – “Handcrafted for the Holidays”
A Holiday Tradition for the Community!

Monadnock Humane Society is pleased to announce it will be holding the 7th annual craft fair – “Handcrafted for the Holidays” – at the Adoption and Learning Center at 101 West Swanzey Road in Swanzey from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday, December 7, 2013.

The “Handcrafted for the Holidays” Craft Fair has been a favorite event in the Monadnock Region and promises something for everyone. More than 48 local crafters and gift vendors will present their wares and make for one-stop shopping for holiday gift giving. Offerings include handmade chocolates, soaps, jewelry, textiles, birdhouses, one-of-a-kind artwork, doggie clothing, toys and accessories, and much more!

Come prepared to “shop ‘til you drop” and then refresh yourself with a hot lunch – homemade soups, chilis, breads, yummy desserts and a drink. Satisfy your sweet tooth at the bake sale table with an assortment of goodies for immediate indulgence, or take some home to share with family and friends afterward.

MHS will again be selling natural balsam wreaths, pine roping, swags, and handmade bows. There will be a raffle of items from some of the vendors (click here for more information). All proceeds from the craft fair, wreath sale, raffle, lunch and bake sale will directly support the animals at MHS. There will also be adoption gift bags to those who adopt during the event (a gift card for the first 50 adopters from Waterhouse Restaurant in Peterborough!), a tree lighting with carols, and a holiday photo opportunity with your furry family member(s). (Please make sure dogs are leashed and cats, rabbits, and other small pets are secured in carriers.)

“It’s great to be able to support the animals and enjoy a holiday shopping experience at the same time,” says Rebeccah Colburn, the Volunteer Craft Fair Chairperson. “The Handcrafted for the Holidays Craft Fair is a great opportunity to kick off the holiday season, do some gift shopping, and raise some much-needed funds to support the life-saving work of Monadnock Humane Society.”
