SPECIAL PROGRAMS FOR YOUR PETS:
SPAY/NEUTER CLINICS FOR CATS - Neutering not only enhances your cat’s health and contentment, it reduces the cost of pet ownership. Cats brought to the clinic are given a basic exam, after which they are spayed (females) or neutered (males) and given distemper complex and rabies vaccines as appropriate. Cats will also have their ears cleaned, nails trimmed, and coats checked for fleas. It’s like going to a spa! For more information, and a list of clinic dates, click here.
FURRY FRIENDS ACTIVITY TIME at the CHESHIRE CHILDREN'S MUSEUM - From April to December, every second Thursday of the month from 10:30 - 11:00, MHS hosts an interactive monthly program. Parents and children will gather in a circle to hear a story, make a craft, or sing a song to learn more about being kind and caring to animals. You will also visit with one of our adoptable animals and learn about responsible pet ownership. Open to the public, no admission fee. The Cheshire Children's Museum is located at the Colony Mill Marketplace in Keene, NH.
