Shelter Technician – Full-Time

We are always looking to connect with compassionate, dedicated individuals who share our passion for animal welfare. While we do not currently have an open Shelter Technician position, we are accepting applications to keep on file for future full-time openings.

A Shelter Technician position is typically 40 hours per week, with weekend hours required. After 90 days of employment, employees are eligible for paid time off, plus a wide range of benefits—including health insurance, a Flexible Spending Account, access to low-cost veterinary care for personal pets, and many other employee discounts.

As a Shelter Technician, your primary responsibility is to ensure the highest standard of care for all shelter animals. You’ll follow established policies and procedures to maintain the health, safety, and comfort of each animal.

This role requires more than just animal care—it involves strong communication skills, effective teamwork, and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once. You’ll interact regularly with the public, fellow staff members, and volunteers, so a friendly and professional attitude is essential.

If you are passionate about animal welfare and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply for future consideration!
