Hey there, future minion—uh, I mean, potential human! My name is Talie, and I’m a 5-year-old Domestic Shorthair (though I like to think of myself as a domestic overlord in training). If you’re reading this, you might just be the kind of special someone I need: cat-savvy, patient, and ready to worship me from a safe and respectful distance! Let’s cut to the chase: I’m not your typical “cuddle bug.” I like things my way—and I’ll be very clear about what that means! I’m a master of signals, so if you’re good at reading feline body language, we’ll get along great! I’m not into sharing my kingdom with other animals or tiny humans. They just don’t understand boundaries, and I really don’t like my boundaries crossed! If I roll over and show you my belly, don’t fall for it—it’s a trap! Eye contact? Nope. Fast movements? Hard pass. Strangers? Don’t even think about it! I love climbing up high where I can watch everything from a safe perch. It’s my happy place! Wand toys and mice toys are my jam! Bring those, and you’re already halfway to earning my respect! With the right person who respects my quirks and is willing to give me the time and space I need to adjust, I’ll make a loyal (and very entertaining) companion! You see, I’m not a bad cat—I just have a lot of feelings, and I need someone who can help me work through them!
