Princess is a 5-year-old pitty mix who’s equal parts sweet, loyal, and affectionate. She’s a people-loving girl who enjoys spending time with her family and has done well with kids. Princess is friendly with strangers overall, though she can be a little cautious around men at first and may need a bit of time to warm up before showing her full goofy, loving personality.

She previously lived with another dog and did well with him, but her experience with animals outside of her home is very limited. Because of her history, we strongly recommend Princess be the only dog in the home so she can relax and enjoy being the center of attention. In return, she’ll be a devoted companion who’s happy to soak up love, attention, and cozy time with her people. Princess needs to be in a home in New Hampshire as she is currently being treated for heartworm. We are hopeful that in a quiet environment, she will be able to continue on her road to recovery.
