Cappy & Wonder Woman, 4-year-old female parakeets

Cappy and Wonder Woman are a bonded pair of 4-year-old female parakeets. They have lived together their entire lives, and this is their second time coming to the Humane Society. They are relatively under socialized and under handled and are not hand tame. But they have the potential to be really sweet companion birds, given a bit of time, patience and understanding. They are both chirpy and talkative to each other and to staff when interacted with. They really enjoy their millet, and nature sounds/soft bird music on Spotify. They would be best suited for a home that has bird experience, as socializing will take some time and effort. But they would also be fine in a household without bird knowledge, under the understanding that they might never be hand tame or handleable. They would still make great additions to any household as a “look but don’t touch” pet.
