Pet of the Week

This man is large and in charge! Jager came into MHS at a whopping 34 pounds!! He is a big, sweet gentleman with an even bigger heart… and now on a serious diet. He does need to continue his weight loss program, and his adopter will need to work alongside a veterinarian to support his progress to keep him happy and healthy. MHS is helping him with his meal plans and working on his play routines to encourage movement and exercise. Good news, it’s working, and he’s already down a few pounds – congratulations, Jager! Jager can be a little shy at first, but once he settles in, he completely melts- he’s a total purr machine who adores attention and loves being near his people. Underneath that initial uncertainty is an affectionate, loyal companion who truly bonds with his humans. If your life is missing a big hunk, come meet him during our open hours
