Pet of the Week

Dylan is a 7-year-old mixed breed with a lot of personality and a soft spot for his people. He’s crate trained, potty trained, and has a solid history with adults and older kids, making him a great match for a home that understands and respects his boundaries. Dylan is choosy about his canine friends and might prefer to be the only dog in the home, but MHS staff can facilitate a dog introduction for you if you already have a pup in the home and are interested in adding Dylan!

Homes with cats or younger children might not be the best fit, as he can be a bit unaware of his size and prefers a calmer environment. Dylan can be sensitive, so he’ll thrive with an adopter who pays attention to his body language and gives him time to build trust. With the right home, Dylan has so much potential to be a loyal and rewarding companion. Come meet him during our open hours, Thursday-Sunday from 11-3. April 20, 2026
