Veterinarian

Monadnock Humane Society is seeking a part-time veterinarian to oversee the overall health and well-being of shelter animals with a focus on high quality care in line with industry standards. The Shelter Veterinarian will conduct routine and critical care as well as medical and surgical services. The Shelter Veterinarian will serve as the vet of record for MHS and all candidates will need to have a current license to practice in the State of NH. This is a 27 hour-per-week, no weekends, hourly position with benefits. The schedule is generally Monday, Tuesday and Thursday with some flexibility based on the needs of the individual or organization as well as for emergencies. You will end your work day knowing that you have made a significant difference in the life of our shelter animals. Shelter Technician Position available: Full time, 40 hours/week, Friday through Monday, benefits and paid time off after 90 days. Responsible for providing the highest quality of care to each animal using set policies and procedures. This position also requires good communication skills, teamwork, and excellent customer service skills, working with the public, other staff, and volunteers.
