Foster a Bunny (or two)!

By Laurie Phillips

Want to help, but you are unable to adopt a bunny at this time? Fostering a bunny or pair of bunnies, might be a good idea for you and would be an extremely good thing for the bunnies!

We are looking for families who would enjoy helping young bunnies with the personal touch provided by the intimacy of a foster home.  Being with a family in a loving home can give them the socialization they need and enjoy, and helps them to be adopted. And, it’s fun for you, too. Bunnies love to play and are very friendly.

Training for fostering a bunny is provided by MHS as are the food and supplies needed.

We would love to have your help in temporarily fostering a young bunny. If you are interested, please contact Ashley Okola (ashleyo@humanecommunity.org)  or Bekah Ballou at (rebekahb@humanecommunity.org) or call 603.352.9011, ext. 101 to find out more about fostering a bunny or a pair of bunnies!
