Adopt a pet during this special 2-day adoption event! Monadnock Humane Society announces a two-day adoption event – “Home for the Holidays” – on Friday, December 20th from noon to 6 pm and Saturday, December 21st from 11 am to 4 pm, held at the MHS Adoption and Learning Center in Swanzey. During this two-day event, the adoption fees for the first 50 adoptions of a cat, dog, or rabbit will be reduced by $25 each. And, every animal adopted goes home with a goody bag.
If you’re thinking of adding a pet to the family, we hope you’ll stop in and speak to an experienced adoption counselor and meet some of the many dogs, cats and rabbits in need of good homes. All rabbits are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies are spayed or neutered, microchipped, tested for feline leukemia or heartworm (respectively), dewormed, and up-to-date on vaccinations as of the day of adoption.
This event is made possible by a grant MHS received from Subaru and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). The funding is part of the annual year-end Subaru “Share the Love” donation which is targeted for distribution as grants to animal welfare organizations, and MHS is pleased to be a recipient of one of these grants. MHS is partnering with Subaru of Keene for this special event.
Michelle Thevenin, MHS Executive Director, with Taylor and Mike Perry, General Manager for Subaru of Keene.
