How do you thank a business for a year’s worth of Volunteerism?

On Thursday, Dec. 22nd, we presented the staff at Clark-Mortensen Insurance and Financial Services a small token of our appreciation for all the volunteerism they did for MHS in 2016. Clark-Mortensen selected MHS to be their “Charity of Choice” throughout 2016–a gift and an honor that ensured MHS received volunteers and support from Clark-Mortenson employees all year.

Clark-Mortenson sent teams of volunteers to help at all our major events —the Walk for Animals, the Handcrafted for the Holidays Craft Fair, the We Remember Pet Memorial, and the Hair Ball. They also helped with campus improvement projects, collected hundreds of pairs of shoes for our Shoes for Shelter fundraiser, and supported other fundraisers. Our Pet of the Week was featured in their internal company newsletters. And, perhaps most importantly, we made some new friends.

We want to take a moment to thank each and everyone at Clark-Mortenson – with special thanks to Julie Reekie, who coordinated these events. Clark-Mortenson is clearly a company that delivers on their promise to serve the community. Thank you all so much for a wonderful year! We’ll miss you.
