Adopt a Bunny!

By Laurie Phillips

Rabbits can make wonderful pets, but don’t mistake them for “low-maintenance” or “starter” pets. They need a safe “rabbit-proofed” living space, a daily diet of clean hay and fresh veggies, and toys and activities to keep them entertained. But the most important thing your rabbit needs is – YOU. Rabbits are smart, social creatures, and are happiest living as part of your household, not in a dark hutch deep in your back yard.

If you’ve got what it takes to be a great rabbit parent, visit Monadnock Humane Society for resources on rabbit care and some fabulous rabbits waiting to be adopted. Click here to see bunnies that are currently available for adoption.
