MHS to receive 10% of Community Giving Tuesday revenue at Waterhouse during January

By Laurie Phillips

Monadnock Humane Society is pleased to be chosen as the beneficiary of “Community Giving Tuesdays” at Waterhouse Restaurant in Depot Square, Peterborough, during the month of January. Community Giving Tuesdays is a charitable fundraising program offered by Waterhouse, a classic restaurant located on a scenic riverside location. Every Tuesday in January, Waterhouse will donate 10% of all revenues generated on those nights.

“MHS is so pleased to have been chosen for this fundraiser and to partner with such a wonderful restaurant,” said Michelle Thevenin, MHS Executive Director. “It’s great to receive the much-needed funds, however more importantly we are delighted to have an opportunity to spread awareness of our mission and share some of our stories.”

Keith Herrick, Waterhouse General Manager, says that “‘Community Giving Tuesdays’ are always fun because customers come to support a local non-profit organization, and there’s a resulting spirit of community and friendliness that makes for an enjoyable experience.”

Herrick added that “it’s a great time to consider hosting a special occasion party or hold a business reception. These count towards the total donation as well!”

Bring friends and family to enjoy a dining experience, have a drink, or just come for a delicious dessert and coffee. The more people who come on those nights, the more it will benefit the animals of MHS! Be sure to ask your server for a pet treat to take home as a gift to your pet from Waterhouse.
