Pet First Aid benefit for MHS

Would you know what to do if your pet suddenly stopped breathing? Or how to safely handle an injured pet? Healthy Pets NH is offering a Pet CPR/First Aid Class at Monadnock Humane Society on Saturday, May 21 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. The cost is $65 per person and includes course materials and a 2-year certification. (A portion of the registration fee benefits MHS.)

Class will cover

  • Pet CPR and Rescue Breathing
  • Choking Management
  • Wellness Assessment
  • Dealing with Injuries/Bites and Stings/Poisoning
  • and much more!

Class will be held in the Therrien Community Room at Monadnock Humane Society, 101 West Swanzey Rd. (Rt 10) in Swanzey, NH.

Enter through the Training Center entrance.  When you come up the driveway, go straight at the Stop Sign. This puts the building on your right.  As you come even with the building, you’ll see the Boarding & Daycare and Training Center Entrances.
