GIVING TUESDAY IS NOVEMBER 29TH - WILL YOU UNLEASH YOUR GENEROSITY FOR THE ANIMALS?

You’re invited to Meet and Greet our New Transition Leader!

By Laurie Phillips

The Board of Directors of Monadnock Humane Society invites the community to a “Meet and Greet” open house to introduce everyone to the new Transition Leader, Joseph Olsen.  Joe was hired by the Board this past December to lead the organization to the next level.  The event will be held on Saturday, February 7th from 2-4 pm in the MHS Therrien Community Room at the Adoption and Learning Center in Swanzey, and is open to the public. Refreshments will be provided, and guests are welcome to tour the Adoption Center while visiting.

Joe is looking forward to having conversations with members of the community, and welcomes any questions regarding his role. “I already feel so welcome in this community,” said Olsen. “Many people have stopped me on the street and in various restaurants and shops to say ‘hello’ and offer their help. I am so impressed by how much this community cares for Monadnock Humane Society.”
